Adamawa state gov’t expresses readiness to supports NSIB in delivering its mandates across the country

Adamawa state government says it is ready to partner the  Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau, in ensuring effective transport safety management across the country.
Adamawa state  governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri
 stated this when he granted audience to the team of
Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau, led by the Director General of the bureau,  captain Alex Badeh Junior who were at the government house on a courtesy call on the governor at his office in the government house yola.
Governor Ahmadu umaru Fintiri said the state government was ready to go into collaboration with the agency to see that the  northeast zonal  office of the bureau in yola  comes on board immediately.
Governor Fintiri  thanked president Bola Tinubu  for finding the Director General  worthy of appointment to head the Nigeria  Safety Investigation Bureau and equally charged him to be a good ambassador of the people of Adamawa state and bring along his wealth of experience on board for the development of the bureau, urging him to maintain good relationship with his members of directors in order to take both the bureau and the  country  to  greater heights.
The governor noted that one of the mandates of the bureau is to ensure that all means of transportation in the country are safer.
While stating the essence of the visit,  the Director General of the Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau, Alex Badeh junior
said they were at the government house to intimate the governor on the bureau’s  management inaugural retreat together involving some directors from the ministry of aviation.
Badeh said the Nigeria Safety investigation bureau has been tasked with investigating all  accidents associated with all modes of transportation in the country.
According to the director general they will be meeting to strategize on how to move the bureau forward and to expand the agency to all the geopolitical zones in the country as it planned to situate the northeast zonal office in Adamawa state.
He therefore solicited partnership and  support of the state government in doing that.
