Adamawa state government has drilled a standard solar borehole for Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Adamawa state Council.
The project which is being executed by the Sustainable development goals (SDGs) under Alhaji Muhammad Alfa Raji would supply water to the Secretariat and environs.
The water tank has the capacity to supply 20 000 cubic of water daily.
The Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan while speaking on the project thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for considering the Secretariat of NUJ in his water scheme, saying it is the first in history since the then Military administration.
Dedan further expressed appreciation to NUJ partners for making the environment an enterprising hub in Dougire axis of the state Capital.
The Secretary of NUJ Comrade Fidelis Jockthan said about 400 Practicing Journalists in Adamawa state including Zonal officers from Northeast would converge on the NUJ premises very soon for the grand commissioning of the water Project by Governor of Adamawa state,Rt.Hon.Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
