Adamawa state Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has vowed to prioritize the welfare of women and youth and remained committed to expanding educational opportunities in the state amidst fee hikes.
The Governor the indication at the ongoing Convention of the Lutheran Church in Nigeria LCCN Non-Diocese with the theme “God of Impossibility,” held in Numan local government area of the state.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri assured the faithful and people of the state of government’s increased commitment to construction of schools and guaranteed payment of both WAEC and NECO fees for the students.
While expressing gratitude to the people for their support and patience, the Governor emphasized on the importance of unity and prayer for the state and nation.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri assured of empowerment initiatives for women across the state as well as plans for supporting farmers with essential inputs and enhancing security in the state.
The governor also highlighted efforts by the state government to revamp the educational system by expanding skills acquisition programs and revising the school curriculum.
In his opening remarks, the convention’s chairman, Dean Reverend Nelson Malau, who also serves as the Vice Chairman of LCCN, Dean Benue Division, conveyed sincere appreciation for Governor Fintiri’s esteemed presence.
Reverend Nelson extended his heartfelt congratulations on the governor’s recent triumph at the Supreme Court and offered prayers for divine guidance as the governor steers the affairs of the state.
The five day convention which commenced on 5th, will be rounded up on the 10th of March 2024.
