Nigerians have been called upon to imbibe a positive attitude and be patriotic to make the country a better place for all.
Director General, National Orientation Agency NOA, Malam Lanre Iss~Onilu made the call in a message delivered during a press conference and sensitization campaign on the reintroduced National Anthem and National values charter in Jalingo.
According to him, due to lack of good attitude among people, the country has witnessed anti~social behaviour such as corruption, kinapping, insurgency, and banditry, among others.
Also speaking, the Agency’s Director in Taraba state, Malam Zakari Muhammad Kasimu stressed that the NOA will continue to educate citizens on the importance of national identity and values to foster national unity and social cohesion in the country.
The Director who applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s RENEW HOPE AGENDA also pledged to utilise various media platforms to promote national values charter to embrace the country’s diversity and promote unity.
