T.Y Danjuma donates multimillion naira morgue to Federal Medical Centre.

Taraba state Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has commissioned a state-of-the-art morgue built by General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, rtd at the Federal Medical Centre in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital.

 

The cutting- edge facility equipped with 18 compact body mortuary refrigerators equally features a body reception, preparation unit, autopsy, and body holding unit powered with sufficient solar systems.

 

While commissioning the facility, the governor expressed gratitude to General Danjuma,rtd for constructing such standard facility, emphasizing the need for the centre’s management to maintain it for quality services.

 

Speaking at the commissioning event, General Danjuma explained that the new morgue is set to address the inadequacies of the old mortuary, incorporating standard equipment for long-term efficiency.

 

He urged the hospital management and the good people of Taraba state to prioritize maintenance, stressing that if the facility is maintained properly, it would serve the state for many years.

 

Earlier, Taraba State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Bordiya Buma explained that the mortuary is equipped to provide vital support to the federal medical centre, ensuring professional services and improving healthcare delivery in the state.

 

Highlighting General Danjuma’s compassion and commitment to Tarabans through his contributions to the health sector, the commissioner thanked the elder state’s man for donating the morgue to the federal medical centre.
