Taraba state Governor, Dr. Abgu Kefas has called on intending protesters to shelve their decision and seek Dialogue with the government for the progress of the state.

Governor Agbu Kefas said although every Nigerian has the right constitutionally to protest, the aftermath of such protest is usually volatile, which by extension delays the development plan of the government.

He said he is not oblivious of the hardship being experienced by the people, and as such, his administration is committed to improving the living standards of Tarabans.

Governor Agbu Kefas therefore appealed to anyone or group of persons intending to protest to reconsider their resolve to protest and approach the government with meaningful contributions which will help the government serve the people better.

Stakeholders who spoke at the meeting aligned their words with that of the governor calling on everyone to support the current administration as they make concerted efforts to tackle challenges Confronting the state.
