Governor Fintiri Pledges Free, Fair APC Governorship Primary in Adamawa

Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has assured a free fair and credible APC governorship primary election in the state.

Governor Fintiri gave the assurance while responding to questions from journalists at the government house Yola, stressing that the choice of the people should always be prioritised.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who said that, as the leader of the party in the state, APC will come out victorious in the 2027 general elections.

The governor said his victory as the party’s flag bearer of the Northern Senatorial zone is another opportunity to continue serving the people despite completing his two terms tenure as governor.

He disclosed that, the zone and the nation at large would benefit from his wealth of experience as a national leader, thereby ensuring good representation.

According to him, he will collaborate with critical sectors in addressing security challenges and other deficiencies which is being face by the zone, and could not addressed due to insufficient resources.

“I will still go for that to address some of this challenges having identified them, and having a very good experience of this problems ”

Fintiri noted that his candidature is not a favour because he deserved to contest unopposed due to his track records as the governor of the state who delivered in all sectors.

He commended the recent concluded primaries of both house of Representatives and senate despite some hitches experienced, but remained, free and fair.

“there are a lot of young people involved and very vibrant and so you expect actions at that level particularly that a lot of them are inexperienced politicians who thought they would just come and carry, it doesn’t come easy that way”

Fintiri added that the mistakes experienced during the primaries will be perfected for the success of the forthcoming state Assembly and governorship primaries of the party.
