Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has assured business owners and residents of Mubi that his administration will sustain programmes designed to reduce poverty and enhance livelihoods across Adamawa State.
The Governor gave the assurance on Sanday during an interactive meeting with business groups, youth associations, and women leaders at his residence in Mubi.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Fintiri said his visit was aimed at engaging directly with the people to identify critical areas requiring government intervention, particularly in supporting small businesses and creating opportunities for young people.
He noted that the feedback from such engagements informed the introduction of the PAWECA empowerment programme, which is specifically designed to assist youths, women, and other vulnerable groups in the state.

Governor Fintiri also commended the Federal Government for securing approximately five billion naira to support agro-business development in Nigeria, reiterating his administration’s firm commitment to driving economic growth through agriculture and enterprise.
On infrastructure, the Governor promised to complete all ongoing projects before the end of his tenure, vowing to hand over a stable and progressive government to his successor.

He further pledged continued investment in youth development and called on citizens to support credible leadership, while assuring that his administration would intensify efforts to strengthen security across the state.
In their goodwill messages, representatives of various groups and associations lauded Governor Fintiri for his developmental achievements and inclusive approach to governance.

They expressed satisfaction with the administration’s performance and pledged their continued support and cooperation to ensure peace, security, and sustainable development in Adamawa State.
