Stakeholders in environmental protection in Gombe state, have been called upon to give the necessary support to contributeironmental Initiative and other NGOs poised to contributing their quota in environmental protection program coordinator of Agro Chemical Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape, ACReSAL, Gombe state office, Ambassador Sani Adamu Jauro made the call during the inception workshop of Jewel Environmental Initiative in Gombe state.
Ambassador Jauro said the ACReSAL program which is a World Bank project, enjoys the support of the governor, Mohammad Inuwa Yahaya, towards fighting against ecological and environmental degradation in the state, adding that Jewel Environmental Initiative as a partner should alspokespersoned towards achieving their goals.
Earlier the spokes person of the initiative in the state, Malam Bima Mai- Gombawa, pledged the readiness of his members towards the sensitization of traditional leaders and other community leaders on the importance of ACReSAL projects in the state.
Malam Mai Gombawa also thanked Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya and ACReSAL for doing the needful to protect the environment.
