Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the appointment of Boss Mustapha as Adamawa state’s representative on the Board of Trustees of the Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund.
The approval was contained in a statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.
Governor Fintiri said the appointment reflects his administration’s commitment to strengthening regional security architecture and ensuring Adamawa State is effectively represented in key security-related decisions.
The Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund, established by the Northern Governors’ Forum, is designed to support intelligence coordination, provide operational logistics, strengthen inter-state collaboration and promote community-based security initiatives across the 19 northern states.
The governor expressed concern over rising cases of banditry, terrorism, kidnapping and communal conflicts, noting that the Trust Fund was created to support efforts aimed at restoring peace and security in the region.
He congratulated Boss Mustapha on the appointment, describing it as recognition of his integrity, competence and commitment to national development.
Governor Fintiri also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working with federal and regional stakeholders to enhance security and safeguard lives and property.
