Adamawa Governor Pledges Stronger Security Through Police Collaboration.

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has assured the government’s commitment to supporting the Nigeria Police in fighting crime in the state.

Governor Fintiri gave the assurance when he received the newly posted Commissioner of Police to Adamawa State, Kabir Umar Hassan, who led his management team on a visit to the governor’s office for official introduction.

The governor said this is the right time to strengthen collaboration in tackling criminal elements across the state, noting that new ideas and operational strategies are needed to combat crime beyond the metropolitan areas.

He urged the Commissioner of Police to maintain professionalism in the discharge of his duties and cooperate with his team, while reaffirming the government’s commitment to supporting the force for the success of its operations.

Earlier, the Commissioner of Police, Kabir Umar Hassan, said he had been fully briefed on the security situation in the state upon assumption of duty and assured that he would work round the clock to ensure the safety of lives and property.


Kabir also commended the governor for his developmental projects across the state, particularly in securing the lives and property of the people.
