Deputy Governor, Adamawa State, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has congratulated Mariya Adamu Nyako on her retirement as Permanent Secretary Adamawa State Boundary Commission.
Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, congratulated the retired permanent secretary during a send forth organized in her honour at Government house, Yola.
The Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta who is also the Chairperson, Committee on Adamawa state boundary Commission said Mariya Adamu Nyako, has made tremendous contributions to the growth and development of the State.
Professor Kaletapwa Farauta also charged the new permanent secretary, Mercy Dauda, who has taken over office in the Commission on the task before her, adding that the border issues are always things of concern to the state government.
She therefore wished her well as she serve the State in that capacity.
The retired permanent Secretary, Mariya Adamu Nyako thanked the Deputy Governor for her support and leadership style, adding that the strong foundation and team spirit will continue.
The New Permanent Secretary, Mercy Dauda said her predecessor served the state meritoriously and appreciated the state government for the opportunity to serve.
