People in Dukku local government Area have been called upon to embrace the habit of tree planting initiative and remain consistent in doing it.
The call was made by the Gombe state project coordinator ACRESAL Gombe office Ambassador Sani Adamu Jauro at tree planting exercise held at Gombe state university Dukku campus immediately after Inauguration it’s inauguration at the campus.
Sani Adamu Jauro said tree planting is one of the projects that government of governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya is conversant with and gives more priority considering the role of good and healthy environment.
Adding that this administration introduced Gombe goes green project and encourage people to form the culture of planting trees in public and private places.
The coordinator ACRESAL Gombe state office thanked governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for giving enabling atmosphere for ACRESAL to take good shape and task the people of Dukku local government Area to give the planted seedlings maximum care as they did to 3G project.
Speaking after planting his seedlings the chairman Dukku local government Area Alhaji Jamilu Ahmed Shabewa thanked, governor Inuwa for supporting ACRESAL project in the state and promised to take good care of the planted trees even after the rainy season.
Ambassador sani Adamu Jauro later paid a condolence visit to the emir of Dukku Alhaji Abdukadir Haruna Rasheed over the demise of Galadiman Dukku.
