Participant at the one day engagement and sensitization with NGOs organized by Adolescent girls initiative for learning and empowerment AGILE, have advised the project coordinator to focuses attention to rural communities.
Chairmen of various non governmental organisation under the umbrella of association of non governmental organization ANGO, observed that most of the girls that are not going to school are in the rural areas.
Earlier the Agile Gombe state project coordinator in the state Dr Amina Haruna Abdul while given the over view of what Agile project is all about said they would continue to invite critical stake holders which consists of religious and traditional leaders to put head together to ensure the success of the project in the state.
Dr Amina Abdul pledged to put under consideration all the suggestion and calls made by the participants for onwards inclusive in their work plans.
In a remark the state commissioner of education professor Aishatu Umar Maigari represented by the permanent Secretary at the ministry Abubakar Adamu sarkin ruwa said as the chairperson steering committee of the project all hands most on deck to ensure that the project recorded success geared towards the integration the life of girl child.
Amongst the dignitaries who called on parents to allow their children and wards to benefit from the Project especially girl child.
