Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration will ensure that the people of the state benefitted from dividend of democracy.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri made this known when he granted audience to the members of the Muslim council under the leadership of its chairman, Malam Gambon Jika who were at the government house yola to congratulate the governor over his victory at the tribunal.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Said the state is now enjoying commendations, recognition and ranking from various organizations as a result of the administration’s commitment to the development of the state.
He said the visit is beyond congratulating him but also to draw his attention on the need to Fucos on working for the people of the state.
The governor thanked them for the visit and assured the delegation that his administration will ensure it deliver to the people of the state all promises made.
The governor said his doors are open for advice as the council served as a bridge between the people and the government.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation and chairman of Muslim council Adamawa state , Malam Gambo Jika said they were at the government house to congratulate the governor over his victory at the tribunal.
Malam Gambo Jika said the Muslim council is in support of the Fintiri led administration and will continue to pray for the development of the state.
According to him, under the Fintiri led administration, Adamawa state has prosper in many aspects.
He therefore called on all and sundry to join hands with the government for the development of the state.
Similarly, the delegation of emirs and chiefs across Adamawa state were at the government house to congratulate the executive governor of Adamawa state, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintir for his second term in office, praying for God’s guidance as he prepared to champion the affairs of the state for the next four years.
The leader of the delegation and acting chairman of the chiefs and emirs council in the state, the emir of mubi, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu said they were at the government house to congratulates him and also express their appreciation for what the governor has been doing to the chiefs and emirs in the state.
Abubakar isa Ahmadu assured the governor of the support of the emirs and chiefs in the state for its development.
Responding, the Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri thanked the almighty Allah for the victory at the tribunal, describing it as an opportunity to serve people of the state better in terms of infrastructure and peaceful coexistence among the people.
According to the governor, the government is enjoying the collaboration with the royal fathers who are the closest to the people at the grassroots in terms of security and peaceful coexistence and promise to continue on that phase for the development of the state.
He thanked them for the visit and promise to ensure that the people of the state reap the dividends of democracy despite the hardship experienced as the result of fuel subsidy removal by the federal government.
