Adamawa state government says it will continue to work hard for peace and security of the state.
Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu umaru fintiri stated this during the chieftaincy tittle investiture installation ceremony of 27 Mbula title holders by Murum Mbula, Bwaltam Bentley Biyapo Mboiman the second held at the Mboiman square, Borrong Demsa Local government area of Adamawa state.
Governor Ahmadu umaru fintiri who was represented by the Chief of staff government house , Doctor Edgar Amos Sunday commended, thanked the Royal father for conceiving and holding the event successfully.
Governor Fintiri said the state government holds the Murum and the people of his kingdom in high regard, praising the effective leadership and commitment of the murum to the unity, peace , progress and development of Mbula people as well as the entire people of the state.
In his speech, the Murum Mbula , Bwaltam Bentley Biyapo described the event as a maiden edition of its kind during his reign as the Murum Mbula.
The Royal father explained that there is so much value and respect attached to each of the title which correlates with the qualities of the recipients.
Murum Bwaltam said the days of agony are over , what is now left is to come together for the development of the land, assuring that with governor Fintiri on the saddle of leadership of the state no stone will be left unturned in the development of the state.
While charging those honored to come up with workable projects for the development of the people, the traditional leader equally admonished them to put their differences aside and come together to work as a unified body for the peace and development of the community.
Speaking on behalf of the decorated chiefs, Boniface Zebulun thanked and appreciated the Murum Mbula for the chieftaincy title, assuring him of their cooperations to the development of Mbula kingdom.
Earlier in his opening remarks,the chairman of Demsa local government area, Chief Wenakam Fwah, thanked the executive governor of the state for his efforts in ensuring the protection of lives and property of the people.
Some of the 27 persons honored with the chieftaincy titles are the speaker Adamawa state house of assembly, Bathiya Wesley as kada mbulashon, Commissioner of works and energy development, Adamu Atiku Abubakar as Ndakade, Mbula, Kate Raymond Mamuno as Nkwaring kuseu Mbula and Lami Abdullahi as Gara Npanding Mbula amongst others.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion included the Secretary to the state government, Auwal Tukur as well as some commissioners and members from both the state and national assemblies.
Highpoint of the event are cultural dances from Mbula kingdom, Numan, Shelleng and Guyuk local government areas.
