Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has assured his administration commitment to create platform for fairness and freedom in the state.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri stated this when he received elders and stakeholders of yungur community who were at the government house for solidarity visit.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said Adamawa State is now fully recovered and working and that has created an enabling environment to collaborate with agencies both within and outside the state.
Governor Fintiri said government will look at the pleas of all communities, engage relevant stakeholders and that whatever everyone deserves in the state is being given to him.
The governor said his administration is always ready to work with people who are ready to deliver as nobody working under him has excuse to fail.
Governor Fintiri appreciated them for the visit describing it as an opportunity to bond with the people because they’ve been demonstrating it from the ballot up till now.
He therefore thanked them for the visit and assured that government will always work for the good interest of the people of the state.
Earlier in his opening remarks, the president yungur development association worldwide, Philimon antambita said the yungur people were at the government house to appreciate the governor for the developmental strides in yungur land and to thank him for his commitment to the development of the state, an effort that continue usher in awards from all corners and walks of life .
Philimon also thanked the governor for finding some of yungur sons and daughters worthy of being appointed to serve at different capabilities in his cabinet and administration as well.
In their separate remarks, district head of suktu , justice Adamu Hobon retired and other speakers thanked the governor for executing numerous development projects in healthcare, education, security, infrastructure, empowerment and welfare of the people of the state.
They described the governor’s efforts in the development of the state and pledged for continued support to the governor even beyond his term in office.
As they presented their request for the Chieftancy of the yungur chiefdom stressing there is no better time for that to be actualized than now when the governor is on sit, both speakers prayed for God’s guidance and protection for the governor as he continue to develop the state.
High point of the visit was cultural dances by various yungur groups.
