Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has expressed his condolences to the people of Shuwari community in Kirchinga Ward, Madagali Local Government Area, following a Boko Haram attack that claimed eighteen lives.

During a visit to the community on Wednesday to offer sympathies, Governor Fintiri described the attack, which occurred on Tuesday evening, as barbaric, insensitive, and unjustifiable.

The Head of Operations, NEMA Yola Office, Ladan Ayuba, also confirmed the death toll, stating that the agency is conducting on-the-spot assessments in Shuwari to ensure the provision of essential relief materials to affected residents.
