Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has condemned the recent attacks on communities in Madagali and Hong Local Government Areas, describing them as heinous acts of violence that will not be tolerated.
The Governor says the state government will not allow criminal elements to undermine ongoing efforts to restore peace and stability, warning perpetrators to desist or face the full weight of the law.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, in Yola, Governor Fintiri assured residents that the government remains committed to defeating insecurity.
He noted that the state had overcome similar challenges in the past and is determined to do so again.
The Governor pledged continued collaboration with security agencies to protect lives and property and bring those responsible to justice.
He urged residents to go about their lawful activities without fear, assuring them of government’s protection, and commended security agencies for their dedication and bravery.
Governor Fintiri also called on the people of Adamawa State to remain united in the collective effort to build a safer and more secure state.
