National Association of Nigerian Students honour Taraba state governor.

National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS has described Taraba state Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas as a true champion of education who inspires the younger generation with his remarkable strides.

National President of the Association, Comrade Lucky Emonefe, stated this while decorating the Governor as the Grand Patron of the association in the northeast at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo,Taraba State.

Assuming office as Governor of Taraba state, Dr. Kefas has implemented several groundbreaking policies, including declaring free education for primary and secondary schools, reducing tertiary school fees by half, and launching the Taraba State Student Identification system.

The National President of the Association emphasized that it is in recognition of Governor Kefas’s unwavering commitment to advancing education in the state that the association deemed it feat to honour him.

He applauded the governor for his dedication to education, student welfare, and other critical sectors of the state.Emonefe enjoined Governor Kefas not to relent in serving the people of Taraba and making remarkable impacts for the growth of the state.

Responding, Governor Kefas thanked the leadership of the Association for the recognition, pointing out that he would continue to make contributions for the transformation of Taraba state.

Governor Kefas urged the youths to seek mentorship from leaders who have gone ahead and as well join hands with them to build a greater country.
