Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has issued a stern warning to protesters to stay clear of critical national assets and infrastructure.
The State Commandant, Ibrahim Mainasara, has directed the massive deployment of officers and men to ensure the safety and security of lives and property of the citizens of the state.
As contained in a statement signed by the CDPRO, DSC Nyako Amidu Baba and made available to Newsmen in Yola the Adamawa State Capital, the NSCDC in collaboration with all sister security agencies is committed to providing the necessary security for all law-abiding citizens of the state.
The command urged youth to avoid participating in the planned protest and instead, explore peaceful means of making their voices heard.
It equally called on the general public to remain law-abiding, as it is prepared to resist any attempt to disrupt public peace.
According to the statement, the NSCDC is dedicated to maintaining order and safeguarding the wellbeing of the communities and will appreciate the cooperation of all citizens in these efforts.
