President Bola Tinubu has acknowledged the vital roles of women in nation building.
The President stated this during a visit to the Chibok Girls studying at the American University of Nigeria, AUN in Yola.
Represented by the Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Suleiman, President Tinubu offered words of encouragement and validation, assuring the girls of maximum support.
The President emphasized that women can greatly impact society and the country, hence he urged the survivors to continue demonstrating resilience while commending the Adamawa Government and the Ministry of Women Affairs for their support.

The Adamawa Commissioner for Women Affairs, Neido Kofulto, applauded the federal government’s efforts in promoting women’s inclusion.
The President of AUN, De Wayne Frazier, commended the Chibok girls for trusting the institution to change their narratives.

Over 100 freed Chibok girls are studying at AUN and other institutions, with the federal government covering their expenses.
The survivors at AUN received gifts and a cash token of 50,000 naira each.
