Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to executing and commissioning quality projects until the end of its tenure as part of efforts to improve the lives of the people of the state.
The governor stated this after inspecting the ongoing construction of the Jimeta Ultra-Modern Shopping Complex and the State Zoo in Jimeta.
Governor Fintiri said the inspection was aimed at assessing the progress of work and ensuring contractors deliver quality projects that provide value for public funds.
He expressed satisfaction with the pace and standard of work, noting that the contractors had demonstrated commitment to meeting the completion deadline.
According to the governor, both projects are expected to be completed by the end of September for public use.
He described the ultra-modern shopping complex as one of the finest in Northern Nigeria, saying it would transform commercial activities by providing a modern and conducive environment for businesses, while also creating employment opportunities and boosting the state’s economy.
Governor Fintiri added that with about ten months left in office, his administration remains committed to delivering more people-oriented projects across the state.
