Adamawa State Government has inspected the ongoing Mega Science and Technical School for boys in Lamurde Local Government Area.
During the visit, Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, said the project is part of efforts to advance education across the three senatorial zones of the state.
She expressed concern over the pace and quality of work, directing the contractor to address identified shortcomings and warning that government would not tolerate negligence.
The project consultant, Sam Alara, attributed delays to insecurity and assured government of a recovery plan.
The school is expected to accommodate over 600 students upon completion.
The Deputy Governor also inspected facilities at the Cottage Hospital, Lamurde.
