Adamawa first lady reinstates commitment to support NDLEA in fighting drug abuse

Wife of the Adamawa State Governor Hajiya Lami Umaru Fintiri has pledged to support the initiative of National drug law enforcement agency NDLEA towards addressing issues of drug abuse in the country.

 

The wife of the governor stated this at a two day workshop on drug prevention, treatment and Care organized by NDLEA in collaboration with wives of the state governors in Abuja.

 

Hajiya Lami said the initiative will no doubt aid in early intervention and treatment of drug misuse which has posed serious threat across the country.

 

She also called on the state NDLEA to be more proactive in the fight against drug menace in the state.

 

The wife of the Adamawa State Governor therefore commended NDLEA under the leadership of retired brigadier general Buba Marwa for organizing this vital training and for the ongoing efforts in combating drug abuse in Nigeria.

 

Chairperson of the Nigeria governor’s wives forum ambassador olufolake Abdulrazaq urged her colleagues to include drug abuse in their respective training programs across states.
