Wife of the Adamawa State Governor, Hajiya Lami Fintiri, has hosted a familiarisation and get-together with the wives of Emirs and Chiefs across the state in Yola.
The gathering brought together the royal mothers to strengthen unity, promote friendship and deepen their engagement, while celebrating the rich traditional heritage of Adamawa State.

The delegation, led by the wife of the Lamido Adamawa, Hajiya Aishatu Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa, said the meeting would help strengthen collaboration in promoting peace and peaceful coexistence across the state.
She described it as the second visit of its kind and expressed optimism that the initiative would further strengthen the relationship between the royal mothers and the Governor’s wife.
Responding, Hajiya Lami Fintiri expressed delight over the gathering, describing it as historic.
She stressed that peace is essential for meaningful development and urged the royal mothers to remain vigilant over the welfare and upbringing of their wards.
The Governor’s wife also emphasised the importance of education as a foundation for societal development.
