Adamawa state executive council has approved a budget proposal of 225.8 billion naira for the 2024 fiscal year
The expenditure tagged Budget of Re-engineering by the Fresh Air administration was approved during the Executive Council Meeting presided over by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri which took place at the council chamber government house yola
Briefing newsmen immediately after the meeting, the state Commissioner for Information Neido Geoffrey, said the budget was crafted based on citizens’ needs.
While breaking down the proposed budget estimate, the state Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Emmanuel Piridimso said, 111.3 billion naira, representing 49.3% was earmarked for recurrent services while 114.5 billion naira representing 50.7% is to cover the capital expenditure
According to the Commissioner, the proposed budget is ready to be presented to the state house of assembly on Friday for consideration and approval.
