Adamawa State Executives pledge to work with the Legislative for the development of the state.

Members of Adamawa state House of Assembly have paid Sallah homage on the governor of Adamawa state, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

 

Speaking during the visit, the speaker, Adamawa state House of Assembly, Bathiya Wesley who led the law makers said the visit was to congratulate the governor over the successful Sallah celebration in the state.

 

Responding, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri thanked the law makers on behalf of the executives for the visit, and called on them to work together for the development of the state.

 

The governor reaffirmed his stand on the directives given on the ban on cutting down trees in the name of producing charcoal,  with the call on all stakeholders to come together and work for the progress and development of the state.

 

He said the government will provide palliatives for the citizens and workers in the state in order to cushion the hardship being experienced as a result of subsidy removal.

 

Meanwhile, members of the Adamawa Judicial commission also paid the governor a Sallah homage .

 

Leading the delegation, the Chief Justice of the state, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahaman who said the visit was to pay the usual sallah homage on the governor, also used the opportunity to appreciate the Governor for his contribution to the judiciary since the inception of his administration.

 

In his response, Governor Ahmadu Umar Finitiri thanked them for the visit and pledged that the executive will work hand in hand with the judiciary for the development of the state.
