Adamawa state government promises automatic employment to 60 engineering graduates

Adamawa State Government has promised automatic employment to sixty engineering students who successfully graduated from India after their mandatory one-year service.

The commissioner for education Dr. Garba Umar Pella who disclosed this to Government House reporters shortly after the students’ meeting with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, said that the Graduates were at the government house to appreciate the Governor for the sponsorship.

Garba Pella recalled that the scholarship, awarded in 2020, was aimed at supporting Adamawa indigenous students to study for five years in various engineering disciplines in India.

He promised that the governor who was impressed with their performance, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining the process for benefit of other students in the state.

He assured that the state government is making preparations to send another batch of students under its next scholarship programme to study in China.

Speaking on behalf of the students, Tahir Iju Sama’ila appreciated the Governor and his cabinet for the opportunity to study abroad.

Tahir equally advised other students and youth in the state to remain dedicated and work hard for a better future.
