Adamawa state government says it will continue to champion the well being of the girl to allow them realize their full potentials.
Deputy Governor of Adamawa state, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, made the commitment when she hosted members of Angelo Nigeria Limited who visited her in office on Friday.
Members of Angelo Nigeria Limited and partners were Led to the deputy governor by Delihlar Musa, an indigene of the state.
They were out to champion the cause of women and Youths in the areas of entrepreneurship development, Menstrual and reproductive health education.
The team leader Dr. Titilope Ejimagwa, said the group and partners were convinced by the political will demonstrated by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in bringing hope to the Youth, Women and children, hence their resolve to partner state government in empowering and impacting their lives.
Responding, Deputy Governor professor Kaletapwa Farauta, said the federal government girls college Yola will be used as a pilot phase for the project, with focus on educating the girl child on Menstrual health among others.
She emphasized that the present administration holds the girl child in high esteem and will continue to introduce policies and programs towards the realization of their full potentials.
