Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his second term will prioritize youth and women in his appointments.
The Governor stated this during the first PDP stakeholders meeting in his second term held at the banquet hall of government house in Yola.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said the newly sworn in administration will consider women and youth while selecting those who will work under the administration.
The governor warned that this time around it is not going to be business as usual because appointments will be based on credibility as the administration is ready to do more for the people of Adamawa State.
He therefore called on the stake holders to go back to their respective wards and ensure credible people are selected for appointments.
Earlier in his welcome address, the state chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, Barrister A.T Shehu commended appointees under the same governor in his first tenure and also expressed optimism that the new administration will do more for the betterment of the people of the state.
He called on all supporters particularly PDP members to support the government in order to achieve more successes than those recorded in the past four years.
