Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Finitiri has advised Political office holders to serve the people of the state irrespective of differences.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri made this known while playing host to a delegation from Gude Community in Mubi South Local Government area, who paid him a courtesy visit to thanked him for appointing Isa Shehu Ardo as the head of service of Adamawa State.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said the government had so far started making selection of people to be saddled with responsibilities of running the affairs of the state in various capacities.
Governor Fintiri said the appointment of Isa Ardo as the Head of service was based on merit and dedication to civil service in the state, calling on the people to pray for the successes of the administration.
The Governor reaffirmed the commitment of his administration on keeping to promises made.
He equally called on the people of the state to live peacefully with one another and also help with the security information that can dislodge criminals in the society.
He therefore advised all appointees to get rid of all primordial sentiments in the discharge of their duties whenever they find themselves in the position to serve.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Dr. Yusuf Umar of the American University of Nigeria (AUN) Yola said the delegation was at the government house to appreciate Governor Fintiri’s led administration for identifying with people of Gude and appointing some of their sons into key positions in the state.
Doctor Yusuf assured the governor of the loyalty of the people of Gude community, Mubi south and the entire citizens of Adamawa State.
