President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had felicitated with the former Secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Gida Mustafa during his Thanksgiving ceremony.
Conveying the president’s message during the event which took place at the st. Monica LCCN Cathedral, Jimeta Yola, the Secretary to the government of the federation, Senator George Akume said president Bola Ahmed Tinubu also expressed his gratitude to the former Secretary to the government of the federation for his services to the country, particular the way and manner he organized the transition programme.
He described the former SGF as one of the longest serving SGF , which was due to his commitment and dedication to the development of the country.
The president wished him successes in all his future endeavors.
The special guest of honour, Adamawa state governor, Rt. Honorable Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri described the former Secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustafa ‘s tenure in office as a testament to his unwavering dedication, exceptional leadership and remarkable vision.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Said the unwavering commitment of the former SGF has indeed saved a lot of Nigerians during the covid nineteen pandemic, appreciating the former president Buhari’s confidence in Boss Mustafa.
He therefore, on behalf of the citizens of Adamawa state congratulated the former SGF for his successful tenure in office.
Representing the vice president during the occasion, Senator Babajide ojibu, expressed his gratitude to God for tenure well spent by the former SGF in office .
He commended the former SGF for championing causes which were meant to improve lives of Nigerins.
He also commended him for his ability of bringing diverse people together in order to achieve success.
He wished him success as he chart another course in his journey of life endeavors.
While describing the qualities of the former SGF, the Deputy speaker house of representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu described him as a respected personality with courage to lead an exemplary leadership.
He also pledged to always be there for the former SGF.
Also the traditional rulers on their goodwill Message delivered by the Hama Batta , Chief Alhamdu Clarkson Teneke described the former SGF as a committed person to the development of humanity.
According to him, his contribution in the development of the country cannot be easily forgotten, more especially in the areas of security.
In his remarks, the celebrant Mr. Boss Gida Mustafa expressed gratitude to God Almighty for his mercies throughout his life.
Boss Mustafa described the moment as a moment of great joy after serving as the second longest serving SGF of Nigeria, he is coming back home successful.
He appreciated all the people that stood by him to give him the courage and strength he needed to remain steadfast in his job.
He also thanked his family, more especially his wife for standing beside him through all trying times.
The former SGF urged the people to always pray for those at the mantle of leadership, with a call to young men to build network of good friends.
He thanked everyone who graced the occasion and wished them journey mercies as they return to their various destination.
The event had in attendance special dignitaries from the national assembly as well as serving and former governors and well wishers.
