Adamawa state Government has announced the return of monthly sanitation activities in the state.
The state commissioner for information and strategy Neido Geoffrey Kofulto announced this while speaking to newsmen shortly after the state executive council meeting, chaired by the State governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
The commissioner for information and strategy Neido Geoffrey Kofulto explained that during the executive council meeting, Adamawa state governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri approved the monthly sanitation to be done on every last Saturday of the month.
Also approved during the state executive council meeting was the variation of ₦ 348, 110, 407.40 from the ministry of land and urban development of the contract for the construction of the perimeter wall fencing of Adamawa state geographical information system AGIS office.
The commissioner for information Neido also announced that the recent outbreak of measles in the state have been tackled as a result of the governor’s efforts and directives to the commissioners to go back to their respective local government areas and educate the people on the measures to be taken to prevent the spread of the disease describing it as successful.
