Atiku Abubakar lauds Gov. Fintiri ‘s developmental strides in Adamawa State

Former vice president and presidential candidate of the people’s democratic party in the 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar has lauded the developmental strides of governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in Adamawa state.

 

The Former vice president and presidential candidate of the people’s democratic party in the 2023 general elections Atiku Abubakar lauded the developmental strides of governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in the state.

 

The former Vice president who described governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as a pace setter was received by Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta at Yola international airport on Monday.

 

This is the first home coming of the former vice president after the legal tussle that followed the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

 

Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta alongside the chief of staff government house Yola Dr. Edgar Amos, Commissioners and other top government officials were at hand to give the the former Vice President a befitting welcome.

 

Speaking to newsmen shortly after arrival, the former vice president and presidential candidate of PDP in the 2023 general election Atiku Abubakar, expressed satisfaction with the level of transformation in the state which he attributed to the purposeful leadership of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

 

He said PDP is a formidable political platform that is people oriented, hence the numerous projects spread across the state to meet the aspirations of the citizens.

 

Abubakar stressed the need for more support and prayers for the PDP led administration in Adamawa, as it remains committed to providing dividends of democracy despite all odds.

 

The former vice president also reminded the people of the state on the need for unity in diversity for desired change and development to take place.

 

The motorcade of Atiku Abubakar proceeded to his private residence at Dougirei amidst cheerful supporters demonstrating their support and solidarity.
