Bauchi State State Government says activities of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIPR is complementing the effort of building a better society and respect to constituted authorities.
The Special Adviser to Governor Bala Mohammed on Media and Publicity Comrade Mukhtar Gidado stated this at official inauguration of the new NIPR Office in the state capital.
Comrade Mukhtar Gidado who was represented by the Director Press Affairs Government House Bauchi Alhaji Alhassan Sulaiman Dambam said Government would sustain partnership with NIPR as the image making body for the overall development of the state.
According to him, in recognition of it’s role, the government has rendered a number of supports to the institute including donation of utility vehicle, office accommodation, supporting the recent Annual General Meeting and the successful hosting of other National Programmes in the State.
Speaking, the NIPR Chairman, Bauchi State Chapter Alhaji Kabiru Ali Kobi acknowledged the contributions of the state government towards improving the chapter.
- The event featured paper presentation and official introduction of the state commissioner, Ministry of Education Dr. Jamila Haruna as a new NIPR member.
