Adamawa State, Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has encouraged Christians to cultivate the habit of thanksgiving at all times.
The Deputy Governor gave the encouragement at the 2023 thanksgiving service organized by the state chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, held at the Spiritlife Power Embassy Karewa Extension, Jimeta-Yola.
The Deputy Governor of Adamawa state Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, who was the guest preacher at the occasion tasked the congregation to change their attitudes towards one another and live lives that glorifies God.
Reading from Psalms 103:1-2, she warned against ingratitude to God, advising Christians to see beyond the challenges of life and worship God with all their heart and soul.
Professor Kaletapwa Farauta drew their attention to the benefits of worshiping God which according to her are unquantifiable, encouraging them to always thank God for his goodness, mercy, grace, guidance and protection upon their lives.
Earlier in his address, Archbishop Japhet Tonmwaso, encouraged Christians to uphold the spirit of giving praise to God with all their heart and possession.
He appreciated God for the opportunity to witness this year’s thanksgiving service.
Highlights of the Thanksgiving service was special prayers for leaders, insecurity, economy, peace, unity as well as development in Adamawa and Nigeria at large.
