Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has charged Women and Youths to come out en mass and vote for Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, during local government Chairmanship election in the state.
Professor Kaletapwa Farauta Stated this while addressing to Newsmen shortly after a meeting with running mate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chairmanship candidates Chairmanship Candidates, held at Government house, Yola.
The Deputy Governor applauded Governor Fintiri for being women friendly, stressing that as women they have a role to play in the electoral process and growth of democracy in the state and the country at large.
According to her, the Women running mates should go back to their various local government and mobilize support and votes for Saturday’s election.
She said during the meeting, they agreed the Women will go back to their local governments and work assiduously to ensure that PDP is delivered.
Professor Kaletapwa Farauta therefore called on the electorates to come out en- mass and exercise their franchise and vote for PDP in all the twenty one local government areas of the State so that the developmental stride of governor Fintiri will be replicated at local government level.
