The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Adamawa state Council has extended it’s warmest felicitations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri,Government and the entire Muslim ummah in Adamawa state and beyond on the occasion of this year 2024 EID-ul-Maulud celebration.
The union in particular, join it’s members of the pen profession in commemoration of this special day,which is the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Union, Comrades Ishaka Donald Dedan and Fidelis Jockthan said
“On this auspicious day, all people from the two divides should reflect on the Prophet’s life and strive to embody his virtues.of Compassion, Spreading love and understanding as well as seeking his intercession in prayers.
In the same spirit of unity and forgiveness, the NUJ urged the Muslim faithfuls for a sustained prayers for more flourishing dividends of democracy as being experience in Adamawa state under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s leadership.
All and sundry should be committed also in prayers as exempliified by the Holy Prophet in the economic turn-around and stability of our great nation”
It further noted that”the media should put Public interest first in their reportage and further harp for harmonious coexistence, welfare for public servants both in Government and private sector.
Once again, Happy EID-ul-Maulud and may the peace and blessings of the celebration be upon all the good people of the state”.
