The Adamawa State Council of Emirs and Chiefs has commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for fostering peace and stability across the state.
Speaking to newsmen, the Kwandi Nunguraya, Dishon Dansanda II, said the council members acknowledged the administration’s commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence and creating an enabling environment for development.
The Royal father stated that the council has pledged its continued loyalty and support to the Fintiri administration and reaffirmed its commitment to working with the government to sustain peace for the overall growth and development of Adamawa State.
The traditional rulers also called on residents of the state to continue living in peace with one another, irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political differences, while stressing that lasting peace remains the foundation for progress.
The council further emphasized the need for regular meetings to review the security situation and other emerging issues affecting the state, with a view to ensuring timely interventions that will preserve the prevailing peace in Adamawa.
The meeting was attended by all emirs and chiefs across Adamawa State.
