The Gombe state office of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes ACRESAL, has expressed readiness to begin payments of compensation to affected communities.
The project coordinator of ACRESAL Gombe office ambassador Sani Adamu Jauro stated this shortly after briefing associations from the affected communities.
Dr. Sani Adamu Jauro assured members of the
FCE Gombe down to Gidin dusti gully erosion
areas, that no property affected will remain unpaid.
Local committees were formed and engaged as part of monitoring team as agreed by world bank and Gombe state government.
The Committees include religious leaders, youth and women associations leaders among others, all from the affected communities.
