Another amazing performance by the Gombe Athletics Academy as the para Athletic added silver wear in their medals table.
In the continuing 7th National youths Games in Asaba, Adamu Muhammad displayed breath taking race in the Para athletics grand Finale with time record setting of twelve point twenty one seconds , tide racing to prove their talents and secured the third position .
The para Athletic, aided his Team Gombe to won their Second medals to made the young academy proud in the youth games and he said the medal won had been dedicated to Hon. Ahmad Shuibu Gara, for making his dream in to reality.
In other games, Maryam Aliyu Zarma stride girls 200 miters despite been fifth in the second heat, the young athletic impressed the VIPs, including the president of Nigeria Athelatics, Mr Tomobok Yokowa picked interest in her dossier.
However, other Girls in the Academy Zainab Ahmed Nafada, Comfort Emela and Safiya Adamu Mohammed made a remarkable exhibition in the 400 by 400 relay. In the same vein, their counterparts boys, 400 by 400 relay Final, and four hundred by one semi Final, Two hundred miters semi final.
The athletic from Gombe, will go to the championship day Three hoping another Silver Wears for both Boys and Girls.
