Gombe State House of Assembly has suspended the earlier scheduled screening of new members of the state executive council scheduled to be held today Tuesday.
A letter signed by the management of the Gombe state House of Assembly, says the suspension was a result of a two-day warning strike embarked upon by the Nigerian Labor Congress, NLC, starting from the 5th to the 6th of September 2023.
Radio Nigeria Reports that earlier Tuesday morning, the state house of Assembly was getting ready to screen the 17 new commissioners but the process was stopped by members of the NLC Gombe state chapter in compliance with the Two-day nationwide strike embarked upon by the Union.
