Gov Fintiri receives council of Chiefs, assured more developmental projects

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, says his administration will continue to bring in more developmental projects in the state.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri stated this when he received members of the Adamawa state council of emirs and chiefs led by the emir of Mubi, Isa Ahmadu who were at the government house yola on a congratulatory visit to the governor over his victory at the supreme Court.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Said the period of politics is over and his administration will now concentrate on developing the state.

Governor Fintiri said his government will also ensure fairness to all the citizens of the state as he solicited the support of the royal fathers and urged them to call on the people to support all government initiatives and projects at the grassroot level.

The governor said his administration will create more job opportunities as well as capital for women and youth across the state.

 

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri thanked and appreciated the royal fathers for the visit noting that his victory at the supreme court is a victory for the people of the state.

 

The governor added that a lot has happened in the state and the people have endured enough, but all this were now left behind and the government has forgiven whoever that was involved and is ready to carry everyone along for the single interest of developing the state.

Earlier , the leader of the delegation who is also the emir of Mubi Isa Ahmadu Said the purpose of their visit to the government house was to felicitate with the governor on his victory at the the supreme Court as the legally elected governor of the state.

While assuring the governor of their full support in all its programs and policies, the royal fathers also prayed for God’s guidance and protection as the governor continues with his effort in building Adamawa State.
