Adamawa State Government House Chapel is to mark its 20th anniversary with a three-day programme from 6th, to 8th November, 2026. The event’s Publicity and Media Committee Chairperson, Mrs. Hannatu Kadala, stated this during a courtesy visit, to the Management of Radio Nigeria Fombina FM Yola, to solicit support for the celebration.
Mrs. Kadala explained that the anniversary would provide an opportunity to thank God for the chapel’s 20 years of existence and to pray for the state government and peaceful coexistence in the state, and the country at larger.
She said the programme would feature a seminar on November 6, an award night on 7th November, and a thanksgiving service on November 8th.
According to Mrs. Kadala, Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is expected to be the special guest of honour, while General Theophilus Danjuma retired, is to chair the occasion.
The Chairperson called on members, Christians and other stakeholders to participate in the celebration and join in offering prayers and thanksgiving service to God.
Responding, the General Manger, of the station, Comrade Mohammed Babayo Asha, represented by Head of Programmes, Hajiya Zainab Umar, assured the committee of the station’s support to publicize the 20th anniversary.
In a remark, the Head of News and Current Affairs Department, Bamanga Abdullahi Gombi, said the visit has been a tradition, but even without it, Fombina FM would participate in giving it wider coverage, considering the personalities expected to grace the occasion.
