Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, says his administration has fulfilled its commitment to ensuring prompt payment to contractors handling projects across the state.

Governor Fintiri stated this during an inspection of the ongoing ultra-modern stadium and NYSC Orientation Camp projects.
He said there was no justification for missing the completion deadline, stressing that the visit was to assess progress and ensure strict adherence to the project timeline.

The governor said the contractors had complied with directives issued during his last inspection and were making steady progress in line with the approved schedule.
He added that the Ministry of Works is finalising the designs for the stadium’s road network and parking spaces.

The contracts will be awarded soon, with the projects expected to be completed alongside the stadium and commissioned before the end of the year.
