Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, stated that his administration has been working tirelessly to enhance modern healthcare delivery in the state.

The governor made this known while speaking to newsmen shortly after inspecting the newly purchased CT scan machines and the dialysis center at Yola Specialist Hospital.

Governor Fintiri explained that the CT scan machines would be installed at the Specialist Hospital and Numan General Hospital.

He noted that the inspection was necessary to ensure that the contractor had met all agreed conditions.

Emphasizing that dialysis services are currently free, the governor stressed that the center would significantly reduce the difficulties faced by patients who previously had to travel to Gombe for treatment.

The governor also inspected the newly constructed one-stop-shop laboratory complex and the renovated OPD complex of the hospital.

He added that the state is on a path to recovery, affirming that his administration has fulfilled nearly all its campaign promises and is committed to doing even more.

Also speaking, the Medical Director of the hospital, Doctor. Dauda Wadinga, commended the governor for his efforts in improving the state’s health sector through the provision of essential manpower and medical equipment.

The Doctor emphasized that the CT scan machines would greatly help in addressing the healthcare challenges faced by the people of the state.
