The Huba Chiefdom Traditional Council in Adamawa State has announced the appointment of seven substantive District Heads to fill existing vacancies in the chiefdom.
The appointments followed the approval of the Adamawa State Governor Rt. Honourable Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
In a statement signed by Secretary to the Huba Chiefdom Traditional Council, Alhaji Abba A. Sale, the Council urged the public to disregard a purported list circulating on social media, saying it did not emanate from the Council.
It advised members of the public to rely only on official communication issued by the appropriate authorities.
The newly appointed District Heads are: ACG Andrew Barka (Rtd.) Kulinyi District, Alhaji Mahmoud Abdulkadir Shangui District, Alhaji Abdulnasir Iya Abbas Mufa District, and Mr. Clifford N. Kadala Uding District.
Others are Mr. Henry Kadiri Hyama District, Mr. Aliyu Ibrahim Yadul District and Mr. Anderson Tsowurda Mugwahi District.
The Huba Chiefdom Traditional Council congratulated the newly appointed District Heads and wished them successful and peaceful tenures in their respective districts.
The appointments mark a significant step towards strengthening grassroots administration and deepening traditional governance across Huba Chiefdom.
The Council also reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the visionary leadership of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the Tol Huba, Alheri Bulus Nyako in fostering inclusive governance, preserving cultural heritage and delivering dividends of purposeful traditional leadership to the people.
