NAWOJ Adamawa seeks partnership with Police to fight crime

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Adamawa State Chapter has reiterated commitment to Partner with Adamawa State Police Command to reduce criminal activities in the State.

The chairperson of NAWOJ Adamawa State Chapter, Rose Anthony Elishama stated this when she led Executives of the association on a courtesy visit to Adamawa State Command.

The chairperson of NAWOJ Adamawa State Chapter, Rose Anthony Elishama commended the effort of the Nigerian Police Force in combating insecurity in the state especially tackling Shila boys,

She further pledged that NAWOJ will partner and support the activities of the Command in all possible ways in order to achieve the goal of a crime free state.

Responding, the Commissioner of Police, CP Babatola Afolabi expressed delight over the visit, saying the Command is willing to partner with NAWOJ to achieve the set goals.

He added that the Nigerian Police and Journalists are partners in progress, hence the Command will work with NAWOJ to achieve it’s objectives.

He further stressed the need for NAWOJ and the general public to provide information to the Police Command in order to effectively combat crime in the state.
