NIGER KOGI AREA COMMAND OF NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE INTERCEPTS TRUCK LADEN WITH RAILWAY LOCOMOTIVE IN NIGER.

The Niger Kogi Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has intercepted a Mitsubishi canter laden with railway locomotive parts on Minna Bida road and handed over to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp for necessary action.

Speaking at the formal handover in Minna Customs Area Controller Niger Kogi Area Command Mr Busayo Kadejo advised those engaging in such unpatriotic acts to desist face unpleasant consequencies.

Mr Busayo Kadejo maintained that officers and men of the Niger Kogi Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service are all out to do their job and that anyone that is caught no matter how highly placed will  not be spared.

According to him the Mitsubishi canter laden with railway locomotive parts with registration number SUL 51 ZY was intercepted on Minna Bida road by Customs patrol team during which both the driver and other occupants took to their heels and abandoned the vehicle.

He however expressed displeasure that while the Federal Government is doing its best trying to cater for its citizenry some unpatriotic Nigerians are bent on sabotaging this efforts without regards to the negative consequencies on drailment and economic implication such action might cause.

Mr Busayo Kadejo also commended officers and men of the Niger Kogi Area Command for their commitment in ensuring zero tolerance on smuggling activities and protecting critical national assset while applauding the Federal Government for providing them with enabling environment to thrive.

Recieving the truck with the vandalised items from Customs Niger Kogi Area Controller the Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp Niger state Command Ahmed Mohammed Dan’dare expressed happiness on the synergy existing between security agencies in the state which he said has been yielding positive results.

Ahmed Mohammed Dan’dare who commended Mr Busayo Kadejo and his men for their efforts however assured that on their part they will do the needful to succeed.
